Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013

At the heart of Paris, Grand Palais, Lagerfeld transformed Chanel's Spring Couture into a private forest, models stepped out with dramatized lace hairband cover half of the face, focusing on the outstanding lashings of smoky shadow eyeliner and exaggerated fabric eyelashes.

Enhance by the green scene, I am seeing gothic glamour fashions, model with lacy, pastel print, floaty chiffon, floral appliqués, plush layers finished with feathered hemlines, both long and short pleated tiers dresses and it are more vintage-inpired silhouettes.  Personally, love the layered off-the shoulder cuts exposing another layer of fabrics - it is very much about neckline.

Attention to be paid on the leather thigh-high open-toe boots in black, gold, metallic and lace.

The show ended with two models wearing bridal gown walking together with a little boy, it wins a lough applause from the audiences. Lagerfeld left the audiences thinking that he was making a political statement by approving the same sex marriage.

What do you think ? I think this is a marvelous & memorable show.
